WELCOME!
Genius takes time is my personal motto. The way I approach life and work.
I believe that self-awareness, self-compassion, and self-discovery takes time.
That it takes time to figure out where you come from and who you are. To understand our parents, children, and colleagues. Their motives, strengths, goals.
That it takes concentration and focus to build quality programs and create something worthwhile. Many iterations and revisions. That building that time, precision, and rigor into your work plans and timelines allows you to stand by your deliverables. And that even then, there is always room for improvement.
That its worth taking your time to get it right.
That sometimes we are so stuck in survival mode, that we push ourselves and our nervous systems beyond what our bodies can sustain.
That the immigrant experience and the hope for a better life can create additional pressures on ourselves and our families. To get it all right in one generation. To figure out this country without a manual.
And that sometimes our bodies are trying to talk to us. Telling us to slow down. To conserve some energy, for the long run.
I created this website as a space to share some of my experiences and offer my perspective. To bring a growth mindset to the immigrant experience.
And as you explore this site and my work, make sure to take care of yourself. Quiérete mucho.
